The School has set the regulations for attendance in accordance with the rules issued by the School. They are as follows:
- In cases of medical necessity the attendance may be condoned to 65% but only once.
- Attendance shall be marked at the beginning of class by the Class teacher.
- Students shall occupy their seats before attendance is taken. Late comers can enter the classroom only with the permission of the Principal.
- Absence of two periods a day shall be considered an absence for a whole day, and absence of one period for half day.
- Application for leave should be forwarded to the Principal through the class teacher. It should be countersigned by the parent or guardian.
- Application for leave should be made in advance or on the very day of return.
- Disciplinary action will be initiated against those who repeatedly absent without sufficient reason
- A student absenting himself without leave for more than 15 consecutive working days will have his/her name removed from the roles and he/she will have to pay all School fees due before he/she is readmitted.
- The responsibility of making sure that he/she has the required attendance rests only with the student.
- Compliance with these rules makes a student eligible to appear for the End Semester Examination.
